SANique Vault provides fast data backup and recovery since it uses randomly accessible magnetic disk media as its target device. In addition, SANique Vault supports serverless data backup and recovery when integrated with SANique Cluster Data Sharing solution.

SANique Vault provides flexible job management and guarantees stable completion of data backup and recovery job via both immediate and scheduled job management, temporary suspension of progressing jobs, scheduled job pending, and automatic retry of failed jobs.

SANique Vault provides convenient and intuitive graphic-based user interface that enables centralized management even in a large-scale networked environment. SANique Vault itself provides high manageability through various backup types and convenient way of job configuration.

SANique Vault provides pool-based target management and adding device to or removing device from target pool can be done on the fly from its GUI.

SANique Vault provides fast data backup and recovery due to its target media which is randomly accessible.
SANique Vault also processes each job using multi-stream so that backup and recovery jobs can be quickly completed.
Especially when integrated with SANique Cluster Data Sharing solution, SANique vault can be configured to perform serverless data backup and recovery so that application service need not be interfered in terms of service bandwidth.
SANique Vault supports conventional networked, third-party, and serverless data backups in both networked SAN and file-shared SAN environments.
SANique Vault also supports both conventional archiving image backup and mirror image backup. Mirror image backup synchronizes target backup data with source data image so that backup data can be immediately used with simple mount point change when necessary.

SANique Vault supports both immediate and scheduled processing of backup and recovery jobs. Jobs can be scheduled for one-time execution at the given time or periodic execution with the given interval.

Periodic jobs can be daily, weekly, or monthly and each job can be associated with an appropriate job level (full, incremental or differential) and a time limit for completion. A job that is not completed within the given time limit is suspended. Such a job scheduling can be done on GUI using calendar-like interface.
