SANique¢â Cluster File Sharing includes two key integrated functions that are critical in supporting customers and partners: Cluster File System (CFS) and Cluster Volume Manager (CVM).
 

Cluster File System optimizes fast file sharing in a SAN environment. Each computer or "node" that runs SANique¢â CFS accesses all disks in a SAN workgroup as if the disks are its own local storage. Any application can access any file on every disk connected to a SAN at any time ? transparently and at the speed of the SAN. As your user loads increase, CFS optimizes performance while providing continuous availability.
 

Cluster Volume Manager achieves volume management and high I/O performance through storage virtualization. This "virtualization" actually allows you to use business logic to manage your storage "on-the-fly" without worrying about the physical limitations. As your demand increases, CVM provides scalable, optimized performance while maintaining high availability at all times.
 

SANique FailWatch is a perfect safeguard to protect your critical applications and databases against planned or unplanned downtime. SANique FailWatch monitors the health and performance of the resource through heartbeat checking and initiate to restart the resource on another healthy server should there be service interruption. When installed in conjunction with SANique Cluster File System and Cluster Volume Manager, SANique FailWatch can be run under active-all configuration which can eliminate possible error during zoning and mounting process and reduce failover time since all node share resources at all times.

SANique FailWatch simplifies resource management and application configuration by providing easy-to-use Java-based graphical user interface. SANique FailWatch also gives flexibility to customize scripts and agents for custom built applications so that virtually any application is highly available.
 

SANique Vault is a full featured backup solution to help organizations protect their data. It became extremely important for all enterprises to be equipped with backup solution to make sure that they can restore their backed up data when the original data is lost for any reason. SANique Vault responds to this requirement in a smart and cost-effective way by implementing advanced backup and restore technology especially when performed in conjunction with SANique Cluster Data Sharing solution such as on-line backup, serverless backup, LAN-free backup and so on.

SANique Vault facilitates real time monitoring during backup and restore for system administrators to confirm backup and restore run without any complication. It also has notification feature to deliver alarm messages to system administrator¡¯s email and/or mobile phone in case of backup or restore failure. At the end of each backup and restore, it produces a complete report on a variety of statistics about backup and restore to media and devices.
